چکیده
Objective To investigate the prognostic value of pretreatment squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC Ag) levels for treatment failure prediction in patients with cervical cancer. Methods A quantity 985 satisfying eligibility criteria were included, a median follow-up duration 63.7 months. The optimal cutoff SCC Ag was verified by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Five-year disease-free survival (DFS), overall (OS), and local control (LC) rates evaluated utilizing Kaplan-Meier method. Log-rank test Cox proportional hazards model implemented to recognize independent predictors. Results 8.85 ng/mL. Patients ≥ ng/mL presented significantly inferior 5-year DFS (63.8% vs. 81.8%), OS (71.7% 88.7%), LC (80.5% 91.0%) compared those < (all p 0.001). results multivariate analysis indicated that level an predictor (HR,1.772; 95% CI, 1.366 2.299; Conclusion Pretreatment is effective factor cancer undergoing definitive radiotherapy, ROC-identified elevated indicates unfavorable outcomes.

Squamous cell carcinoma antigen and cancer antigen 125 in southern Indian cervical cancer patients.
Our objective was to evaluate the diagnostic value of squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC-ag) and cancer antigen (CA) 125 serum tumor markers for the detection of cervical cancer. Abnormal SCC-ag(>1.5 ng/mL) and CA125 (>35 U/mL) levels were found in 64.2% and 18.9% of a series of SCC patients and in 25.0% and 42.6% of adenocarcinoma (AC) patients. The SCC-ag and CA 125 markers appeared rather ...

BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to identify the long-term clinical outcome of definitive radiotherapy using three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) for cervical esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (CESCC). METHODS We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 30 patients with CESCC [clinical stage I/II/III/IV(M1LYM); 3/2/12/13] (TNM 7th edition) who underwent definitive radi...
